Cindy Rice's Biography

I am the president of Eastern Food Safety, an Epidemiologist, Registered Sanitarian, and Food Safety Specialist. I recognize the importance of keeping the food supply safe from unchecked pathogens that threaten the food industry. I work in partnership with the U.S. FDA, USDA, National Restaurant Association, and State and local health departments, and also serve as Technical Advisor to the National Environmental Health Association and the Partnership for Food Safety Education, and am the food safety expert for Ecolab and other national foodservice companies. I provide training and food safety guidance to regulatory agencies and the foodservice industry, and consumers alike on topics around food safety and public health.
